The R-9704-36 is the 36 in (914 mm) version of the R-9704 concrete bollard. Body and base are both recorded at 11 in (279 mm) in diameter, the same as the 60 in R-9704-60. The shorter height suits walkways, patios and building edges where a taller post would crowd the space.
It weighs 310 lb (141 kg), which is 200 lb less than the 60 in version. That is still a heavy unit, so plan delivery and handling with the weight in mind and confirm the surface at each location. Once set in place, a fixed bollard like the R-9704-36 blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands.
