The R-8915 is a fixed stainless steel bollard with a square profile. The post measures 3-5/16 x 3-5/16 in and sits on a 6-1/4 x 6-1/4 in base. It stands 35-1/2 in tall and weighs 23 lbs. The square section lines up well with square columns, sign posts and rectilinear paving.
It is a contemporary post for places where the bollard is on show: plaza edges, building entrances, patio lines, transit stops and the front of a retail unit. A fixed bollard blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands, and the R-8915 does that while fitting in with the rest of the streetscape.
