The Halvard M30, model R-1030-M30, is a fixed crash-rated bollard made of steel and supplied in standard primer. Height is 39-3/4 in. Body and base diameter are both 10-3/4 in. Weight is 755 lb per bollard, and that number drives the site planning more than any other figure on the sheet.
Plan around the weight. At 755 lb each, placing these calls for lifting equipment and clear access for it. Fixed means the post stays where it is set: it blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands, and it does not come out for deliveries or events. If the opening has to clear from time to time, look at a removable model such as the Halvard C40-R.
M30 is the designation in the product name. We do not publish crash performance, test standards or stopping figures for the R-1030-M30.
