The R-1009-40-R is a removable crash engineered bollard made of steel. It stands 36 in tall, measures 6 5/8 in in diameter at body and base, and weighs 126 lbs. Removable means the post can be taken out when a lane or entrance needs to open, then put back when that opening should close again.
That pattern suits fire routes, service lanes, delivery bays and event access, where a permanent post would be in the way for part of the week.
