The R-7545 Bastion-XL is a fluted ductile iron bollard that is also listed as a cover. It stands 42 13/16 in (1087 mm) tall, with a 12 in body diameter, a 14 1/8 in base and a weight of 159 lbs. The fluted body gives a post of this width some texture, so it does not read as a plain column beside a flat wall or a glass entrance.
It works two ways. Set on its own, it is a decorative bollard in our landscaping, cast iron, and traditional and historic ranges. Over pipe already in the ground, with a maximum pipe diameter of 10 3/4 in and a maximum exposed height of 39 3/4 in, it is a cover: it changes how the pipe looks and leaves the pipe to do its job.
