The stocky proportions suit masonry frontages and wide sidewalks where a slim post would look undersized. Install it as a fixed bollard, where it blocks vehicle access at the point it is set, or fit it over an existing pipe up to 4-1/2 in (114 mm) in diameter and 25 in (635 mm) high. As a cover it conceals the pipe and is not itself a security barrier.
