Standing 36 in (914 mm) tall, the R-7552 has a plain body with no fluting. The body is 6 in (152 mm) in diameter and sits on a 10-1/4 in (260 mm) base. It is cast in ductile iron, and each unit weighs 88 lbs (40 kg). Bollard Boys supplies this Reliance Foundry model in Toronto and the GTA.
There are two ways to specify it. On its own it is a fixed bollard, and it blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands. As a cover, it goes over an existing pipe up to 4-1/2 in (114 mm) in diameter and 25 in (635 mm) high and hides that pipe from view. In that role it conceals the pipe and is not itself a security barrier.
