The R-7592 is a slim fluted bollard in ductile iron: 35 in tall, 6 in across the body, 10-1/4 in across the base, and 75 lb. The narrow body and fluting suit streetscapes and building frontages where a row of posts should read as part of the architecture rather than as equipment.
Its recorded function is bollard or cover. Installed on its own, it blocks vehicle access at the point where it is set. Used as a cover, the R-7592 fits over a pipe already in the ground, up to 4-1/2 in diameter and 25 in high. A cover conceals the pipe and tidies the installation; it is not a security barrier in itself.
