Its recorded function is bollard or cover, so it can do two jobs. Set on its own, it blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands, such as a storefront edge, the end of a parking stall or the side of a drive aisle. The 9-1/2 in body gives it a solid presence in traffic areas.
As a cover, it fits over a pipe already in the ground, up to 8-5/8 in diameter and 31 in high. In that role it hides the pipe and gives the post a finished look.
