The R-9472 is the double-locking version of this retractable stainless steel post. It locks in two positions: raised, where the post closes an opening to vehicles, and lowered, for the times when that opening should stay open. The second position is what separates it from the single-locking R-9471, which locks only in the raised position.
The dimensions match the single-locking model. The post stands 35-3/8 in (899 mm) tall, with a 4-1/2 in body, an 8-3/4 in base and a weight of 27 lb (12.2 kg). A site that needs some openings locked up and others locked down can use both models along one run with the same body and base sizes.
