Freight is calculated at checkout from the weight of each item, priced per item, so it scales with quantity rather than with the order total. Bollards are heavy and carriers bill per piece, so adding a second bollard adds its freight. Prices and freight are in Canadian dollars.
Enter your postal code at checkout and, if it falls in one of these areas, the rate comes back with it:
If your postal code is not listed, the checkout has no rate for it. That does not mean we cannot ship there — ask and we will price it by hand.
Shipping to the United States. We do ship to the U.S. The checkout cannot price a U.S. address, so instead of failing it hands your cart to a quote request — send it through and we will come back with a delivered price. Prices and freight are in Canadian dollars.
Three kinds of order are quoted rather than checked out: addresses outside the rate areas above, including every U.S. address; orders heavy enough to move as a pallet rather than parcels; and crash-rated, automatic and retractable models, which are quote-only. When your cart holds one it will say so and give you a link that moves everything you have picked into a quote request, so you do not have to retype the order. We answer quote requests within 24 hours.
When it ships. In-stock items ship within 48 hours. Made-to-order and cut-to-size units, and anything moving as a pallet, are scheduled with you. If you are working to a date — a permit, a site closure, a contractor booked for next week — tell us before you pay and we will confirm what we can commit to.
Taking delivery. A heavy order arrives on a truck. Have someone at the address to receive it, and tell us beforehand if there is no dock or forklift, if access is tight, if it is residential, or if the shipment has to be lowered to the ground. Those conditions change the shipment, and we would rather price them with you than discover them at the curb.
If it arrives damaged, tell us right away. Inspect the shipment before you sign. If a crate is crushed or a bollard gouged, note it on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before the driver leaves, photograph it, and call us the same day. A clean signature makes damage much harder to resolve. If you only find it after unpacking, keep the crate and all packaging, do not install the bollard, and contact us the same day — once the packaging is gone, concealed damage cannot be shown to have happened in transit.
If a cart rate turns out to be the wrong shipment. A weight-based cart prices per item, and a large or mixed order can rate as parcels when it really has to travel as a pallet. If that happens we will contact you before your order ships. Depending on the shipment we will either absorb the difference or come back to you with a revised freight price — we will not ship it and invoice you for the gap afterwards.
Delivery is not installation. We manufacture our own bollards and sleeves, and our crews install them across Toronto and the GTA — but the checkout prices freight only. If you want them set in concrete rather than dropped at the door, call (647) 540-4466 before you order.
30 days to return an unused bollard. A 25% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns, calculated on the product price. You pay the freight back to us, and the outbound freight you already paid is not refunded. Custom and made-to-order items are final sale.
Call (647) 540-4466 or email bollardboysgta@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery to start a return. We reply within two business days with a Return Authorization number, the return address and receiving hours. Do not ship anything back without an RA number. Returns go to our Ontario facility.
Custom, made-to-order and cut-to-size items are final sale. Faulty, wrong or misdescribed goods follow a different route with different costs — tell us what arrived and we will put it right rather than charging a restocking fee. Orders supplied against a written quote follow the return terms in that quote.
The full terms, including condition requirements and cancellations, are on our Returns & Refunds page.
The questions we are asked most. If yours is not here, call (647) 540-4466 or email bollardboysgta@gmail.com — tell us your postal code, the model and the quantity and we can usually answer in one go. Quote requests are answered within 24 hours.
By weight, per item, at checkout. Bollards are heavy and carriers bill per piece, so the freight rises as the order grows. Enter your postal code at checkout to see the rate before you pay.
We ship across Canada and to the United States. The checkout can price it automatically for most of Ontario, Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island and the B.C. interior, parts of Alberta, the Prairie cities and the Territories. Everywhere else — including every U.S. address — is quoted by hand: send your cart through as a quote request and we will come back with a delivered price within 24 hours. Prices and freight are in Canadian dollars.
Crash-rated, automatic and retractable models are quote-only. They vary by site, they ship as freight rather than parcels, and the installation detail matters, so we price them individually instead of guessing at checkout. Use the quote request and we will come back to you.
Both. We manufacture our own bollards and our crews install them across Toronto and the GTA, including the footing and the municipal side of the job. The online checkout prices freight only — if you want an installed price, call (647) 540-4466 before you order.
In-stock items ship within 48 hours. Made-to-order and cut-to-size units, and pallet shipments, are scheduled with you. If you have a date to hit, tell us before you pay.
Note it on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves, photograph it, and call (647) 540-4466. If you only find it after unpacking, keep all the packaging, do not install the bollard, and contact us the same day. A clean signature and a discarded crate both make a claim much harder.
Yes — within 30 days, unused, with a Return Authorization number from us. Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee and you pay the return freight. Custom and made-to-order items are final sale. Full terms are on the Returns & Refunds page.
