The R-7901 is the removable mount for 4-inch posts in the R-790X and R-890X ranges. It sets into the ground, and its hinged lid closes flush with the surface when no post is fitted. Removable mounts suit mixed-use areas whose access needs change through the day or the year.
To fit the bollard, open the lid and lower the post into the receiver. The post can then be padlocked to the open lid to discourage theft and tampering. The receiver takes pipe up to 4-1/2 in in diameter. Padlocks are ordered separately.
