The R-7591 Decorative Bollard is a fluted ductile iron casting, 31-3/4 in (81 cm) tall, with a 5-7/8 in body on a 10-1/4 in base. It weighs 79 lbs. The base is much wider than the body, which gives the casting a broad foot where it meets the pavement.
Two roles for one casting. Installed by itself, the R-7591 is a fixed bollard and blocks vehicle access at the spot it occupies. Placed over a post already in the ground, it hides that pipe behind a finished face, provided the pipe is no wider than 4-1/2 in and no taller than 25 in. Sleeving a post is a change in appearance, nothing more.
