The Bastion R-7535 is a decorative bollard cast in ductile iron. The shaft is fluted, and the base is wider than the body: 14 in. across the base against 12 in. across the body. It stands 39 in. tall and weighs 187 lbs. Reliance Foundry lists it under landscaping, decorative, and traditional and historic bollards, which is the sort of work it is meant for: building entrances, walkways and similar visible locations.
There are two ways to use it. On its own it is a fixed bollard, so it blocks vehicle access to whatever sits behind it. Set over an existing pipe it works as a cover instead, taking pipe up to 10-3/4 in. in diameter and up to 36 in. high. Used that way it conceals the post rather than replacing it, and the cover is not a barrier on its own.
