The R-1008-08 is a preformed concrete dome cap for the top of an 8 in steel pipe bollard. Using the same cap on every post gives a run of bollards a matching top in place of hand-formed concrete. The cap is cast in 5,000 PSI concrete with microfibre reinforcement.
On a new post, press the cap into the levelled concrete fill while it is still wet. On an existing post, drill holes for the cap and set it with adhesive. It fits 8 in schedule 40 steel pipe with an 8-1/2 in outside diameter.
