The R-7471 Stal Retractable Bollard is a steel post that lowers out of the way when an opening has to be clear. It stands 35-5/8 in tall on a 4-1/2 in body, with an 8-5/8 in base. It is lockable in the extended position only, so it locks when raised and not when lowered. Unit weight is 60 lbs.
When raised, it blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands, and it can be locked in that position. Typical uses are private driveways, shared laneways, courtyard entries, and parking areas that open and close on a schedule. The R-7471 has the same height, body, and base dimensions as our R-7472.
