The R-1008-04 cap gives a 4-inch steel pipe bollard a finished concrete top without forming the dome by hand on site. Every cap is cast to the same profile, so a row of posts reads as one consistent line instead of a set of uneven hand-formed crowns.
Cast in 5,000 PSI concrete with microfibre reinforcement for a hard, dense face. On a new post, press the cap into the pipe fill once it has been levelled and before it sets. On a post already in the ground, drill the mounting holes and bed the cap in adhesive.
