The Hydria Planter, model R-2101, is a fibreglass planter placed around a bollard that is already in the ground, hiding the post once it is planted. Recorded height is 41 in. The body diameter is 30 in and the base diameter is 15 in, so the form narrows toward the ground. Recorded weight is 36.6 lb. The 15 in base keeps the footprint at grade small, which helps on tighter sidewalks and entry landings. Check clearance to the walking route against the 30 in body, not the base. Soil and plants add weight beyond the recorded 36.6 lb, so set the planter in place before filling it. Confirm the diameter and exposed height of the installed bollard first so the planter fits over it.
The R-2101 conceals the bollard inside it and does not stop vehicles on its own. Any protection at that spot comes from the post it surrounds. Bollard Boys can quote the planters on their own or as part of a supply-and-install package for the site.
