The R-7172 is a plastic bollard cover, 53 in (1,346 mm) tall, with body and base both recorded at 7-3/4 in (197 mm). It fits over an existing pipe of up to 6-5/8 in (168 mm) in diameter and up to 49 in (1,245 mm) high. A cover conceals that pipe; on its own it is not a security barrier.
Its size falls between two other plastic covers we list: narrower than the 8-3/8 in R-7171 and shorter than the 57 in R-7175. The cover is 4 in taller than its maximum pipe height, which leaves some margin where pipe heights vary slightly along an existing run.
The cover weighs 12 lb (5.4 kg). The R-7172 is a Reliance Foundry product supplied by Bollard Boys in Toronto and the GTA. Order it online, or send the diameter and height of each pipe on site and we will confirm which covers fit and quote supply and installation where new posts are needed.
