The R-7611 is a short decorative bollard in ductile iron. It stands 23 in (584 mm) high, with a 7 in (178 mm) body over a 12 in (305 mm) base, so the foot is wider than the shaft. The low height suits corners, plaza edges and other spots where a full-height post would feel out of scale.
It can be used two ways. As a fixed bollard, the R-7611 blocks vehicle access at the point where it stands. As a cover, it fits over an existing pipe of up to 5-1/2 in (140 mm) in diameter and 18 in (457 mm) in height. In that role it conceals the pipe; the cover is not a security barrier in itself.
