The R-9471 is a single-locking retractable bollard in stainless steel, supplied by Bollard Boys throughout Toronto and the GTA. Raise it to close a driveway, lane or loading area to vehicles, and lower it when that space has to be open again. Its one lock position is raised, so the post can be secured while it is up and the opening needs to stay closed.
The post stands 35-3/8 in (899 mm) tall. The body measures 4-1/2 in across and the base 8-3/4 in, and the assembly weighs 27 lb (12.2 kg). Note both diameters at the planning stage: the base is the wider of the two, and the body is the part a driver sees once the post is up.
