The Kethos Planter, model R-2103, is a fibreglass planter placed around a bollard that is already in the ground. The post ends up inside a planted volume, so from the street it reads as landscaping. The recorded dimensions are 40 in high, 40 in long and 40 in wide, which gives the unit a cube form. Bollard Boys supplies the R-2103 in Toronto and the GTA as a Reliance Foundry dealer.
The planter conceals the bollard it surrounds. It is not a barrier on its own, and any vehicle protection at that spot comes from the post inside. Before ordering, confirm the diameter and exposed height of the installed bollard so the planter fits over it. The recorded weight is 95.6 lb. Soil and plants add to that, so set the planter in its final position before filling it.
With a 40 in by 40 in footprint and straight sides, the R-2103 lines up easily with paving joints, curbs and building edges. Several units set at even spacing can run along a frontage. Bollard Boys can quote the R-2103 on its own, or together with the bollards and the installation work.
