The R-7171 is a plastic bollard cover, 51 in (1,295 mm) tall, with body and base both recorded at 8-3/8 in (213 mm). A cover conceals an existing pipe; it is not itself a security barrier. This one fits over a pipe of up to 6-5/8 in (168 mm) in diameter and up to 49 in (1,245 mm) high.
At 8-3/8 in, the R-7171 is wider than the R-7172 (7-3/4 in) and the R-7175 (7-1/4 in), which gives the finished post a fuller shape. The cover itself is 2 in taller than the 49 in maximum pipe height it accepts, which leaves little spare length above a pipe at that limit.
The cover weighs 12 lb (5.4 kg). The R-7171 is a Reliance Foundry product supplied by Bollard Boys in Toronto and the GTA. Measure the pipe diameter and its height before ordering, and include both figures with any quote request so we can confirm the fit.
